Strategically located in the heart of Alabaster, our church has been engaged in sharing God's love for more than 100 years. Founded to minister to the Siluria Mill community in Alabaster--among the oldest settlements in Shelby County-- we continue to minister to the towns of Alabaster, Pelham, Helena, Calera and beyond. And we've grown by extension. We're the mother church to First Baptist Alabaster and Westwood Baptist.
Our membership is as diverse as the community. We believe the ground is level at the foot of the cross and everyone is welcomed to study the scriptures with us and worship the Lord.
Our worship blends the traditional hymns of the faith with the newer music of this generation. Messages from our pulpit are rooted in God's unchanging word, but have practical application to our busy lives.
We also sponsor a myriad of children's and youth activities and take seriously our mandate to love, protect and guide our young people.
Our mission is to make more and better Christians.
